Job Description

Initiates and organizes social events, which bring parishioners into a more loving relationship. Sets up and maintains a yearly calendar of events. Organizes holiday, Lenten and new member dinners, parish picnic, anniversary activities and Episcopal visits. Submits a monthly report to the Leader.

Everyone looks forward to coffee hour after Divine Liturgy on Sunday. It’s a time to socialize and catch up with other members of St. Luke’s. Hosting coffee hour gives members a chance to donate their time to this social ministry that feeds the body after Divine Liturgy feeds the soul. It’s my pleasure to schedule two hostesses for each Sunday. There is always room for new hostesses and volunteering is always greatly appreciated. If you would like to help out please contact me.

Job Description

Schedule and notify hostesses for Sunday Coffee Hosting duties as necessary throughout the year. Notifies bakery of Lenten periods when pastries are not needed. Provides a monthly schedule of hostesses to the Community Team Leader. Makes a monthly report to Community Team Leader regarding any problems, or suggestions for improvements to the ministry.
